At Mindspark, we believe that a toy should not simply keep a child busy; it should help them grow. Our journey began not just as a business, but as parents ourselves. As the founders of Mindspark, we lived through the exact same anxieties that so many Bangladeshi families face today. We watched our own children grow, constantly worried about their development, the lack of meaningful, interactive learning tools, and the ever-growing temptation of digital screens. We desperately wanted to protect their early years—a critical window where play is the natural language of learning—from being filled with passive screen time or dry worksheets. Driven by this personal mission, we started in November 2024 as a close-knit four-member team to build the very solutions we needed for our own families. Today, Mindspark is a specialized, Bangladesh-based early childhood development (ECD) brand dedicated to helping other parents choose meaningful, safe, and developmentally useful play tools for their children.

Our curation process is what sets us apart from conventional toy shops. Instead of importing random commercial items, we research and consult with child development specialists to select toys, clothbooks, and sensory tools that target specific motor, cognitive, and linguistic milestones. Our product line—featuring our signature washable clothbooks like the Spark Encyclopedia and tactile tools like the Pulling Saucer—is chosen to stimulate curiosity, build confidence, and encourage active exploration.

Mindspark is built on shared experiences and real-life parenting. Our team is composed of 90% women and 80% mothers, including our founders, Hafsa and Tahrina. This deep personal connection ensures that we evaluate every toy not just as retail products, but with a mother’s focus on safety, material quality, and durability. Beyond our physical toys, we are committed to supporting parents through practical, science-backed content and interactive resources, such as our Bengali Baby Development Tracker. মাইন্ডস্পার্ক (Mindspark)-এ আমরা বিশ্বাস করি—একটি খেলনার কাজ কেবল বাবুকে ব্যস্ত রাখা নয়, বরং তার বেড়ে ওঠায় সক্রিয়ভাবে সাহায্য করা। আমাদের এই যাত্রার শুরুটা কিন্তু একজন অভিভাবক হিসেবেই। মাইন্ডস্পার্কের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা হিসেবে আমরা নিজেরাও ঠিক সেই দুশ্চিন্তা ও উদ্বেগের মধ্য দিয়ে গেছি, যা আজ বাংলাদেশের হাজারো মা-বাবা প্রতিদিন অনুভব করেন। আমাদের নিজেদের বাবুদের বড় হয়ে ওঠা দেখার সময় আমরা সবসময় একটা বিষয় নিয়ে ভীষণ চিন্তিত থাকতাম—কীভাবে ওদের মোবাইল স্ক্রিনের আসক্তি থেকে দূরে রাখা যায়, আর কীভাবে ওদের মেধার সঠিক ও স্বাভাবিক বিকাশ নিশ্চিত করা যায়। আমরা চাইনি আমাদের সন্তানদের শৈশবের এই সোনালী সময়টা কেবল নিষ্ক্রিয় স্ক্রিন টাইম কিংবা পড়ার অযথা চাপে পার হয়ে যাক । কারণ এই সময়টাই তো খেলার ছলে চারপাশের পৃথিবীকে চেনার এবং মস্তিষ্কের বিকাশের উপযুক্ত সময় । নিজেদের সন্তানদের জন্য একটি সুস্থ ও সুন্দর শৈশব গড়ে তোলার সেই তীব্র আকাঙ্ক্ষা থেকেই, ২০২৪ সালের নভেম্বরে মাত্র চারজন সদস্যের একটি ছোট্ট দল নিয়ে আমাদের পথচলা শুরু হয়েছিল । নিজেদের ঘর থেকে শুরু হওয়া সেই স্বপ্ন আজ রূপ নিয়েছে মাইন্ডস্পার্কে—যা একটি বাংলাদেশ-ভিত্তিক প্রারম্ভিক বিকাশ-কেন্দ্রিক খেলনা, ক্লথবুক এবং প্যারেন্টিং সহায়ক ব্র্যান্ড, যা সব মা-বাবাকে তাদের বাবুর জন্য সঠিক ও অর্থপূর্ণ খেলার উপকরণ খুঁজে পেতে সাহায্য করে ।

সাধারণ খেলনার দোকানের সাথে আমাদের মূল পার্থক্য হলো আমাদের পণ্যের পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ নির্বাচন প্রক্রিয়া। বাজার থেকে যেকোনো প্লাস্টিকের খেলনা এনে বিক্রি করার পরিবর্তে, আমরা শিশু বিকাশ বিশেষজ্ঞদের পরামর্শ নিয়ে প্রতিটি খেলনা নির্বাচন করি । আমাদের সিগনেচার ‘স্পার্ক এনসাইক্লোপিডিয়া’ ক্লথবুক থেকে শুরু করে হাতেনাতে শেখার ‘পুলিং সসার’-এর মতো প্রতিটি খেলনাই এমনভাবে তৈরি করা হয়েছে, যা আপনার বাবুর কৌতূহল বাড়াতে, আত্মবিশ্বাস তৈরি করতে এবং পঞ্চেন্দ্রিয়ের বিকাশে সরাসরি সাহায্য করবে ।

মাইন্ডস্পার্কের পুরো ভাবনাটি গড়ে উঠেছে মায়দের বাস্তব জীবনের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে। আমাদের পুরো টিমের ৯০% নারী এবং ৮০% সদস্যই নিজে মা (যার মধ্যে আমাদের ফাউন্ডার হাফসা এবং তাহরিনাও রয়েছেন)। তাই প্রতিটি খেলনা নির্বাচন করার সময় আমরা শুধু ব্যবসার দিকটি দেখি না, বরং একজন মায়ের চোখে খেলনার নিরাপত্তা, কাপড়ের মান এবং স্থায়িত্ব কঠোরভাবে পরীক্ষা করি। খেলনা সরবরাহের পাশাপাশি আমরা অভিভাবকদের পাশে থাকতে চাই তথ্য ও গাইডলাইন দিয়ে। এজন্যই আমরা নিয়মিত বাস্তবসম্মত প্যারেন্টিং কনটেন্ট তৈরির পাশাপাশি তৈরি করেছি আমাদের নিজস্ব ‘বেবি ডেভেলপমেন্ট ট্র্যাকার’। আপনার বাবুর প্রতিটি মাইলফলক অর্জন এবং প্রারম্ভিক বিকাশকে সহজ, সুন্দর ও আনন্দময় করতে মাইন্ডস্পার্ক সবসময় আপনার পাশে একটি বিশ্বস্ত বন্ধু হয়ে থাকবে ।
